STAFF EDUCATION

"Share with the Lord's people who are in need." Romans 12:13
Since our establishment in Salima in 2016, we have had the honor of welcoming brilliant young people as camp leaders. We are deeply committed to equipping these youth with the necessary skills and resources to excel in their chosen fields and become productive members of society. However, young people in Salima face numerous challenges in pursuing higher education. In response, we established various initiatives to support and empower them, including offering financial assistance to deserving camp leaders who are unable to afford the cost of tertiary education.

This financial support is especially critical as many students in Salima come from low-income families and would not be able to access higher education without it. We work with friends and well-wishers to secure scholarships and bursaries for these students, ensuring they have the necessary financial support to pursue their studies. By providing financial assistance, we are not only helping young people achieve their academic goals but also empowering them to contribute to their communities and beyond. As Cornerstone firmly believes that education is a key driver of social and economic progress, and its commitment to supporting young people in Salima reflects this belief.

Will You Partner With Us?

There are many young people out there--talented and committed Cornerstone leaders who lack the resources to attend college. Because they volunteer their services at Cornerstone, they have limited opportunities to earn income. It costs about $2,500 a year to send a Cornerstone leader to college. Would you prayerfully consider contributing?
